In loving Memory of Philip Wayne Trapp, who left this earth on Oct. 6, 2011.

Philip was born very intelligent just like his father, Roger Trapp. Roger was the head of the Electronics Warfare department in California. A very busy and important man, Philip's Mother, Regina played the role of both parents.

Regina was blessed to have a son so devoted to her, taking her all over the world and the United States. He was there for her every need. Philip was an avid reader fro an early age. Anything and everything intrigued him. He had a wonderful sense of humor. He was a great hunter, fisherman, nature lover, and artist. He also enjoyed classical music and photography. Philip always marched to the beat of his own drum.

Philip had a Mortuary business before he became a chef. He graduated from the culinary Academy in San Francisco. He also studied at the Ecoles-Roger Verge in France and Italy. He opened his own restaurant, Cuisine Cuisine, here in Fort Collins. It was a huge success but he decided to pursue his other passions, photography and music. He built high tech speakers and record players. He also had an Art Gallery in the Fort Collins Museum.

Fall was his favorite time of year and he was planning to take his Mother to see the beautiful colors, when he suddenly died.

Philip, it seems like yesterday you were born and now you are gone. Your Mother was very angry with God for taking you instead of an old woman like me. I have accepted the fact you were God's son and only on loan to me. I do believe that maybe God had something else for me to do. You are in Heaven now with the rest of your family and two dogs, Quito and Vito...I look forward to the day we wee each other again.

Philip is buried in Illinois with his grandmother. My darling Philip, may you rest in peace until we meet again. Love always, your Mother, Regina.
