"J. Kemmett Doyle, 78, husband of the late Cora B Doyle, died on Monday, May 29, at his home on Doyle road near Street.
He was a life long member and for many years a vestryman of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church. Mr. Doyle was employed by the Harford County Board of Education maintenance department for 32 years prior to his retirement in 1959. He was a member of the Triumph Lodge No 14 IOOF, Bel Air and Mercy Rebekah Lodge No 42, Forest Hill.
Mr. Doyle is survived by six children, Thomas F. Doyle of Street, Mrs. Grant Teague of Street, Mrs. Curtis Anstine of Silver Springs, G Earl Doyle of Street, J. Warren Doyle of Forest Hill and Mrs, Arthur Burkins of Whiteford; a brother, William F Doyle of Whiteford; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Thompson of Pylesville and Mrs. Hannah Moulsdale of Abingdon; 24 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held today, Thursday, June 1 at 11 a.m. from the Harkins Funeral Home, Delta, Pa., with the Rev. C.C.Eads, rector of the Holy Cross Episcopal Church officiating. Interment will be in Emory Church Cemetery. Graveside rites will be held by Triumph Lodge No 14. The Rebekah Lodge No 42 held services Wednesday evening at the funeral home. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers, Curtis Teague, Allen Teague, Curtis Anstine Jr., Carl Anstine, David Doyle and Thomas M Doyle."
