Sarah (Bucklin) Walton, 91, of Unity died June 16, 1988, at the home of her daughter in South Hackensack, N. J., where she had lived for the past 20 years. She was born in Waldo March 19, 1897, the daughter of Benjamin Bucklin and Anna (Littlefield) Bucklin. She grew up on the Wescott farm in Knox. In 1917, she married the late Marshall Walton.

During World War II she worked in Parkhurst Grocery Store in Unity and later worked at Reed's Drug Store for 16 years. She was active in the Golden Age Club and the Friendly Seniors, both of Hackensack, N. J., and went on many trips and a cruise with them. She was also a 60-year member of the Harvest Moon Grange in Thorndike.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Eli Bucklin and her two sisters, Amy Haskell and Clementine Ashford.

She is survived by her only daughter, Helen Marguerite Giordano and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held June 18 in Hackensack, N. J. Burial will be in the Quaker Hill Cemetery, Unity, at the convenience of the family.
