He married Hattie A. Trumbull. The most of his life was in Aroostook County, coming here 24 years ago. Of the family of seven, six are living: Mrs. Janet A. Tarbox of Saugus, Mass., Mrs. Arminta A. Frizzle of Boston, Mass., Edward L. Walton and Mrs. Olive M. Reynolds of Unity, Mrs. Annie L. Weston of Augusta and Mrs. Madeline C. Murch of Washingtonville, New York. There are also three brothers and two sisters, Nicholas, Thomas and Frank Walton and Mrs. Lizzie Reynolds of Unity, Mrs. Annie Argraves of Caribou, besides many nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
The funeral was held in the Church of Christ with Rev. L. G. Perry of the Clinton Baptist Church officiating. Floral Tributes were in great profusion. The bearers were G. Roy Tarbox, Charles Frizell, Alton Reynolds and Nicholas Walton. Interment was in the Unity Pond Cemetery. All of his family were there except Mrs. Murch.
