For over 30 years Mrs. Coulter had been secretary for McCorrison – Cole Pontiac Garage in Thorndike and had been active in community affairs. She was a member of the Thorndike Congregational Church acting as treasurer for many years. She was formerly secretary for the Sunday School Department for many years for that church.
Mrs. Coulter was past matron of the Thorndike OES and for many years was Chaplain of the Harvest Moon Grange and Fireman's Ladies Auxiliary, both of Thorndike. She was also a member of Unity Rebekah Lodge number 98.
Surviving besides her husband, Sherman, of Thorndike, are two sisters, Mrs. Robert (Ethel) Gruther of St. Petersburg, Fla. and Mrs. Robert (Thelma) Whitehouse of Unity; and four Nephews.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 pm at the Thorndike Congregational Church. Friends may call at the Lawry Brothers Funeral Home, Fairfield, today from 7 to 9 pm. Burial will be in the Pond Cemetery in Unity.
