Armenian Turkish journalist.
Editor of Armenian newspaper AGOS. He was born in Malatya-Turkey. Dink and his brothers came to Istanbul in 1961 after their parents divorced. He grew up in Gedikpasha Armenian orphanage. He worked for some Marxist groups while he was attending Istanbul University. Dink established Turkish-Armenian newspaper Agos in April 5th 1996. He became one of the most importand figures of Turkish Democracy. He was assassinated near his office on Jan.19th 2007, in Istanbul by a Turkish teenager.
