Funeral services were held Monday at Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel for Frankie D. Callantine, 88, a Gallatin Valley native.

She died May 19, 1983 at her Manhattan home.

She was born at Bozeman Hot Springs on January 8, 1895, to Levi and Clara (Brown) McCollough, ranchers in the Menard area. She lived most of her life in Gallatin County, attending Durham School and Belgrade schools.

She lived for several years in the Columbus and Hardin areas.

In June 1948 she married Oran A. Callantine at Bozeman.

Survivors include one son, Wendall Holton, Cour d'Alene, Idaho; three stepsons: Alvin Callantine, Manhattan, Francis Callantine, Kelso, Wash., and Wayne Callantine, Post Falls, Idaho; three stepdaughters: Wilma Staat, Manhattan, Lola Jones Krueger, Bozeman, and Donna Burns, Beaverton, Ore.; one sister, Mrs. W. A. (Helen) Chipperfield, Spokane, Wash.; two grandsons and four great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1979 and by one step-daughter, Lena Sievert, in 1977.
