Ebba V. Engstrom, 84, a retired 47-year teacher in the Belmont school system, died Saturday in a nursing home in Holyoke. She was born in Cambridge, was educated in schools there, and graduated from Boston University in 1939. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church. She leaves a brother, Gunnar M. of Arlington; and a sister, Mildred Johnson of West Springfield. The funeral will be Wednesday morning in the church, with burial in Belmont Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Brown and Sons Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the memorial fund of Faith Lutheran Church, 311 Broadway, Cambridge, or to the Alzheimers Association, 1 Kendall Square, Bldg. 600, Cambridge, 02139.
