He had been employed at Quint's Tire Service in Galesburg. He was born July 10, 1896, at Toulon. He was a veteran of World War I.
He married Ida M. Baughman in Galesburg in February 1950. She survives, with a brother, Clifford of Chicago.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 10 a.m. at Hinchliff-Pearson-West Chapel. There will be no visitation. Burial will be at East Linwood Cemetery.
