She was born on July 11, 1943, in Bozeman to Frank and Kathern Morrow.

She attended the Maudlow Country School and graduated from Manhattan High School. She worked for Security Bank in Bozeman where she met her future husband. She married James L. Stevens in 1963. They moved to Helena in 1977. In 1989 they opened Country Frames, where she was a bookkeeper-accountant and her creative assistance was always appreciated.

She was an avid collector of antiques and was always excited to find a new Christmas ornament. She made and collected dolls and made beautiful traditional-hooked rugs and ribbon embroidery. She loved her flower gardens, and no one will forget her pickles.

She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Morrow and brother, Leroy. She is survived by her husband, Jim; mother, Kathern Morrow; brother, Ted Morrow; faithful dog, Sadie; and her many Helena friends.

Visitation will be from noon to 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at Retz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 15, at Retz Funeral Home Chapel.

A reception will follow the service and will be announced at that time. Interment will be at 3:30 p.m. at the Whitehall Cemetery that afternoon.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution to the Lewis & Clark Humane Society, P.O. Box 4455, Helena, MT 59604.
