Clinton, who operated a trucking service with his brother, Leo Clinton, was born April 24, 1914, at Manhattan and was a life-long resident of that Gallatin Velley community. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Oscar C. Clinton.
He was married to Mary C. Flint at Missoula on March 2, 1954.
Clinton attended schools at Manhattan and was graduated from high school there in 1932.
Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. Donald (Carol) Allen of Anaconda and Vicki Clinton of Manhattan; a son, Dennis Clinton, Manhattan; his father, Oscar of Butte, the brother, Leo and several uncles, aunts and cousins.
