Professional Wrestler. Highly regarded as one of the greatest of all time. Born into a wrestling family of his father Gory and his older siblings, Hector, Mando & Chavo Sr., He debuted in wrestling in 1987 at the age of 19 working independents. By the 1990s he was featured as a top talent working for Antonio Pena's Asitencia Asesoria y Administracion (AAA) in Mexico, working part of a tag team with Art Barr known as La Pareja Del Torro (The Horror Couple). In his New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) stint he wrestled under the Black Tiger alias as the second incarnation of thar persona in the junior heavyweight division. He wrestled for Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW) in 1995, capturing the ECW World TV title that year before joining World Championship Wrestling (WCW). In January of 2000, he made his debut for the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), in his first span with the company he held the Intercontinental Championship as well as the European Championship twice. He made his return to the WWF in April of 2002, being featured in a rivalry with Rob Van Dam over the intercontinental title, won the IC title at Backlash 2002. In his final years, he won the WWE Tag Team Championships 4 times with 3 different partners (Chavo Jr twice, Tajiri & Rey Mysterio once), the WWE US Championship & the WWE Championship from Brock Lesnar at the No Way Out PPV in February of 2004.
