MY AUNT... MY DAD'S SISTER

Patsy was born to the late Jewel Cecil and Patsy E. (Hill) Forse. Patsy married Richard E. "Gene" Nichols on June 18, 1955 in Nacogdoches, Texas. She retired as a school teacher and taught in private schools. Moving from Houston, Patsy and Gene settled in Country Place in Pearland. They joined the First Baptist Church of Pearland and became very active with their church family. Patsy taught Sunday School and was a member of the Church Choir. She was also a member of the Country Place Choir and the Country Place Quilting Bee.
Patsy is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, John Forse. She is survived by a loving family; her beloved husband, Richard E. "Gene" Nichols; two children, Michael E. Nichols and wife Antoinette, of Lake Jackson and Lee Ann Nichols, of Houston; brother, Clarence Forse and wife Jo Ann, of Lake Jackson; two sisters, Joyce McCutchen and husband Bill, of Lake Jackson and Hazle Goss and husband Sheryl, of Belton; two grandchildren, Lindsey Nichols, of San Marcos and Katherine Nichols, of Huntington Beach, California; numerous other relatives and a host of dear friends. Those serving as pallbearers are; Urban Grass, George Elafros, Hugh Pylant, Gary Forse, Jerry Laughlin and Sheryl Goss.

Another brother, Clarence Forse has joined Patsy.
