Mrs. Sallie Godwin, 84, of Tampa, died yesterday. Mrs. Godwin, born in Zephyrhills was the widow of A. L. Godwin. She moved to Wesley Chapel, where she lived for 30 years, and was formerly a member of the Double Branch Baptist Church. She came to Tampa in 1924 and became a member of the Seminole Heights Baptist Church. She is survived by three sons and five daughters: R. A. Godwin, Hale Godwin, Aaron Godwin; Mrs. J. P. Holland, Mrs. C. G. Townsend, Mrs. L. E. Green, Katheryn Kaylor and Mrs. J. O. Thornberry, all of Tampa; three brothers, C. J Geiger and M. C. Geiger, both of Tampa, and A. E. Geiger, Zephyrhilis; three sisters, Mrs. Rose Ryals and Mrs. Ida Hill, Zephyrhills and Mrs. Azalene Williams, Tampa; nine grand children and 19 great-grand children."
