THOMASENA J. "GODWIN" YOUNG, 75, of Tampa died Saturday at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center. A native of Birmingham, Ala., she moved to the Tampa Bay area more than 70 years ago. She was a retired cigar maker with HavaTampa, member of the American Association of Retired Persons, and Methodist. She is survived by a son, Pete Godwin of Florida; two daughters, Pauline "Polly" Ramsey of Auburndale and Mary Lou Rountree of Ocala; a sister, Etta Elizabeth Abney of Plant City; seven grandchildren; and several greatgrandchildren.
