Benjamin a son of Joseph and Caroline Etnay "Spencer" Kennedy, was a home builder and Contractor on West 27th and 28th Street and Udell Street in Indianapolis from 1898 to 1920, assisted by his brothers.
He moved to Bradenton Florida between 1920 and 1930 and founded and built homes at Braden Castle Florida till his death.

William, Julius, Rufus and Elwood, they built several homes on those streets.
