His remains were brought to Columbia, Sunday afternoon, and the funeral services were conducted at the church by Rev. W.C. Christie, Jessie L. Murrell, and R.V. Bennett. At the close of the services, all that was mortal of this good man was laid to rest in the city cemetery. Our sympathy is with the stricken family.
