Calley's first husband was Sylvester Huffman, 1852-1903. They were married in 1877, and he was the father of her two children, Rosa and Roscoe Huffman. After his death, Calley married Charles Gearhart in 1905, in Joplin, Missouri. After Charles died in 1910, Calley married again, in 1915, to James Ellis. He died in 1922 in Springfield, Missouri. By 1925, Calley had moved to Riverside, California, where she lived the rest of her life, dying at age 91.
