David J. Champagne, 62, died Saturday, November 19, 2011 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation care in Mount Morris, Livingston County, New York. Dave was born the 3rd of February 1949 in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, the son of Paul and Rolande Champagne, one of 15 children. He was employed through the Democrat and Chronicle out of Rochester, Monroe County, New York and operated his vending cart in Geneseo, Livingston County, New York. Dave was a longtime resident of Geneseo, having come to live with his mothers sister (his aunt) and her husband, when he was about 5 years of age.
After several surgeries he was left with disfiguring and debilitating inabilities to carry on ones normal daily routine. He moved to East Avon after his uncles death.
