Josephine Elizabeth Boone, 94, S. Harrison Street, Lebanon, died at 1 a.m., Jan. 9, 1994, at Cedar's of Lebanon Nursing Home, Lebanon. Boone was born Dec. 30, 1899 in Marion County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by: her parents, George and Della Mills Mattingly; and three brothers, Leonard, Billy and Ernest "Doc" Mattingly. Survivors include: one stepdaughter, Mrs. Clarke "Marie" Crum of Lebanon; four stepgrandchildren; eight step-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m., Jan. 11, 1994, at St. Augustine Catholic Church with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Ivo Cecil officiated. Pallbearers were Richard Crum, David Cox, Pat Mattingly, Terry Mills, Mitchel Mattingly and Russell Mattingly. Prayer services were held at 2 p.m., Jan. 10, 1994, at Bosley Funeral Home, Lebanon, which was in charge of the arrangements.
