JOHN HUDSON SPALDING, aged 62 years, better known as "Hut" Spalding, a well known citizen of this city, died at his home in New Lebanon Wednesday evening following short illness of pneumonia. The funeral services will be held this morning at 9 o'clock at St. Augustine's church and the interment will be in the Catholic cemetery at Calvary. Mr. Spalding was twice married, his first wife dying in 1908. He is survived by his wife, three sons and three daughters, John Austin Spalding, William R. Spalding and Walter E. Spalding, Mrs. Agnes Ware, Mrs. Joe thomas and Mrs. Mark Spalding, all of this county. He is also survived by five brothers, Richard W., Wm. J., Jas. S. and Shelby Spalding, of this county, and Joseph Spalding, of Kansas and three sisters, Mrs. Robert Raley, Mrs. Bird Violett of this county, and Mrs. Pius Thomas, of Henderson.
