Chablis was bought as a 6-month old foal in Newbury Park, California by "Mom" Diana in 1976. "Mom" Diana was the only family that Chablis ever knew. Chablis was Quarter and Tennessee Walker. When you rode her, you knew she was going to give you a smooth ride with her inherited Tennessee Walk. She enjoyed riding all over the hills of Newbury Park with her buddies Chief, Gin and Casey for more than 20 years until her move to Montana with "Mom," where she became just a big pet. She spent the last 11 years of her life grazing on the fresh, green grass every spring and eating the apples off the tree every fall. Sadly, the advanced age of 31 years brought with it crippling health problems and "Mom" had her humanely euthanized. She is buried in the Happy Hollow Cemetery.
