Second son of Raymond E. and Marian L. Lear. He retired from the U.S. Air Force with the rank of Technical Sergeant. He is buried in the same cemetery as his parents.
AN ASIDE: I was stationed with then SSgt Garfield Lear from 1959 to about 1965. We were assigned to the 1254th Air Police Squadron at Washington National Airport which relocated to Andrews AFB, MD, in 1961. Garfield Lear is well remembered by all who knew him.
