George J. Rebidue, 82, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2011. George leaves his beloved wife of 56 years, Eileen (Guercio) Rebidue; three sons, George, Stephen and Samuel and his daughter, Lisa all of Worcester. He also leaves his three loving grandchildren, Jericca, Carissa and Freddy.

Mr. Rebidue was born in Worcester the son of George O. and Anna (Benoit) Rebidue and graduated from Worcester Boys Trade School. He was a WWII Navy veteran. George worked for many years at the U.S. Post Office and retired as supervisor in 1989. He was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church and Tatnuck American Legion Post #288.

George's funeral will be held Thursday, October 13, 2011 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church, 24 Mulberry St. Interment will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Visiting hours will be on Wednesday, October 12 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home. The family requests flowers are omitted and memorial contributions be made to the Tatnuck American Legion Post 288, 570 Mill St., Worcester, MA 01602
