Samuel T. Ross of Shelton died of natural causes on Saturday, April 4, at Alpine Way Assisted Living. He was 99 years old.
Mr. Ross was born on December 8, 1909 in Anaheim, California, to Sara Clarence (Merrick) and Lawrence Alva Ross.
He married Lois Bruner on December 19, 1937 in Anaheim.
Mr. Ross was an engineer in the manufacturing and research department of The Boeing Company for 38 years.
He was a member of the 2nd Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Shelton and a past member of the Mountaineers in Seattle.
Mr. Ross was preceded in death by wife Lois in 2004.
He is survived by daughters Elaine Chamberlain and husband Ted of Hamburg, New York; Susan Grund of Wolfville, Nova Scotia; and Margaret Perlis and husband Bill of Shelton; son Byron Ross and wife Cherie of Everett; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and "Ralphie".
Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
