Martha Ann Yeager and Stephen Caudle, Jr. married 09 March 1854, in Bibb County, AL, with I.H. Hagler, M.G., officiating. Martha was Stephen's second wife. "Stephen had a blacksmith shop in Bibb County, and in 1857 and 1859, the post office was located there and known as Caudle's Shop. He and his family moved to Perry County and lived in the town of Marion in 1860 and 1870 census; later moving to Guin in Marion County, Alabama, where he operated a blacksmith shop, grist mill and gin.
