Funeral services for Mrs. O'Banion held August 21st.
Funeral services for Mrs. Margie S. O'Banion of Lake Charles, daughter of Mrs. Pearl Slaydon of Leesville, were conducted Monday, August 21, from the Hixson Funeral Home chapel. Interment was in the Cooper cemetery with the Rev. Alfred O'Banion officiating.
Mrs. O'Banion, age 45, died on August 19 in Lake Charles.
Survivors, in addition to her mother, include her husband, Clayton O'Banion of Lake Charles; three sons, Roger, Donald and Charles, all of Lake Charles; four daughters, Patricia and Debra, both of Lake Charles, Mrs. Linda Shones of Glenmora and Mrs. Brenda Carter of Moss Bluff, three brothers, Willie, Bruce and Fred Slaydon, all of Leesville; two sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Martin of Shreveport and Mrs. Connie Irving of Leesville and six grandchildren.
