James Wynn a son of Joseph and Margaret Armstrong Wynn, married Mariah H. Gregg Aug 14,1856 and Rebecca Ann Shirk Oct. 4,1853
Enlisted Co I 68th Indiana Regt. as a Private and was soon promoted to a Corp. He Died During Service To Our Country at Nashville Tenn. After he died of his wounds his brother William G Wynn also of the 68th Indiana brought his body home for burial in the "Wynn Cemetery"
