Lillie L. Purtee, of Gladwin, passed away at her home on August 24, 2013. She was 109 years of age, born in Detroit, Michigan, on January 11, 1904, the daughter of Louis & Hulda (Otto) Wagner. She lived in Gladwin County most of her life. She was a floral designer and worked for Lyle's Flowers for 25 years. Lillie was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. She is survived by daughters: Jean Becker of Gladwin; Joy Nash of Gladwin; grandchildren: Kim Becker; Anna (Dan) Warren; Scott (Candy) Wyckoff; Jean (Mike) Denver; Tim Mikels; Amy (Chuck) Adams; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild on the way; several nieces & nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Edwin Wagner; sister: Anita Andrew. Funeral Services will be conducted by Pastor Paul Metzger on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, 10:00 A.M., with visitation beginning at 9:00 A.M. at St. John Lutheran Church. Family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 27, 2013, from 6-9:00 P.M. at Hall-Kokotovich Funeral Home, Gladwin. She will be laid to rest at St. John Lutheran Cemetery.
