ILLNESS FATAL TO MRS. ANDREW

Mrs. Anita Louise Andrew, 51, passed away at the Midland Hospital on Tuesday morning, November 24. She had been in ill health for about one year and entered the hospital several days ago. Anita Louise Wagner was born in Detroit on February 9, 1902. She came to Gladwin with her parents 47 years ago and lived here since then, and was married to Curtis Andrew in June 1953 in Gladwin. She was a member of St. Johns's Evangelical Lutheran church and the Gladwin Golden Rod Rebekahs.
Surviving are her husband, Curtis Andrew; one daughter, Mrs. Bettie Coplin, of Houghton Lake; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Wagner, of Sherman township; one brother, Edwin Wagner, of Roscommon; one sister, Mrs. Lillie Purtee, of Sherman township; also one grandson, Ronald Coplin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Hall Funeral Home. The Rev. E. C. Leyrer, of Clare, will officiate and burial will be in Highland cemetery. Gladwin County Record dated 11-25/1953 Column - 6 Page - 1
