Victorean Ruth Orr Bass, 85, of Conway, passed away Monday. She was born June 28, 1922, in Beebe to the late Hanible Orr and Fannie Mae Jones Orr. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Dortha Young, Mary Lee Northcutt and Laverne Rains. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Ralva Bass of Conway; two daughters, Diane Dickens and Connie Martin, and her husband Sam Martin, all of Conway; one sister, Odell Heard and her husband W.K. of Little Rock; four grandchildren, Angela Dickens Hearst of Conway, Eric Martin of Conway, Melanie Dickens Jones and her husband Matt of North Little Rock and Brandon Martin and his wife Elizabeth of Katy, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Jacob and Hannah Hearst of Conway, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home of Conway, 327-7727, with the Rev. Vernon Bass officiating.
Burial will be in Crestlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers are Sam Martin, Eric Martin, Brandon Martin, Matt Jones, Jacob Hearst and Travis Northcutt.
