Mrs. M. A. Nickerson
Joint funeral services for Mr.
and Mrs. M. A. Nickerson,
Kellner Rd., who were fatally
injured in a Marquette County
traffic accident Sunday evening,
will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday
at St. Luke's Lutheran Church.
The officiating clergmen will
be from St. Luke's and Im-
manuel Lutheran Church.
Mr. Nickerson will be buried
in Restlawn Memorial Park
here. Mrs. Nickerson is to be
buried in Eureka Community
Cemetery, Winnebago County.
The fatal accident occurred
while the Nickersons were
returning here from Lake
Forest, Ill., where they had
been married on Saturday. She
died in a Portage hospital at
10:10 p.m. Sunday, and her
husband succumbed at 5 a.m.
today at Wisconsin General
Hospital in Madison.
Mr. Nickerson was born Jan.
16, 1906, and married Tillie Boie
on Oct. 7, 1928, at Rochester,
Minn. She died last April 29....
...Marquette County authorities,
who are completing their report
of the accident today, said it
appeared the Nickerson auto
was completing a pass around
another vehicle when it collided
with a car occupied by Mr. and
Mrs. Roger Bass, Madison, both
of whom were killed.
