Killed In Plane
QUONSET POINT, R. I. (AP)--
George A. Buehler, 22, Nekoosa,
Wis., was one of 13 crew members
killed Thursday when a Navy
plane engaged in anti-submarine
exercises plunged into the sea.
The Neptune bomber hit the
water 70 miles southeast of Block
Island after it "made a pass" at a
submarine.
Buehler, an aviation ordinance-
man 2-C, is survived by his wife
and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. John
F. Buehler of Nekoosa.

Wisconsin bridegroom of six weeks,
were killed Thursday when their
twin-engine bomber crashed into
the sea during anti-submarine ma-
neuvers.
Heavily loaded with electronics
equipment, the P2V Neptune failed
to come out of a steep bank...
The plane was on a night prac-
tice mission, accompanied by an-
other Neptune bomber....
The victims included Aviation
Ordnance Man 2-C George A.
Buehler, 22, of Nekoosa, Wis. Mar-
ried Oct. 4, he made his home at
West Warwick.
