Edgewater Haven, died at 11:40
p.m. Wednesday at Riverview
Hospital after being admitted
about an hour earlier. Death
followed an apparent heart
attack. He had been a resident
at the nursing home for two
and a half years.
Services will be at 1 p.m.
Monday at Feldner Funeral
Home, Nekoosa, the Rev. James
Buckman officiating, with burial
in Green Hill Cemetery, town
of Saratoga.
Mr. Severin was born in
Sweden, Jan. 23, 1889, and came
to the United States at the age
of 14. He never married, and
was employed at Woodstock
Typewriter Co., Woodstock, Ill.,
until his retirement. He moved
to the Nekoosa area in 1963[?]
where he lived with Mr. and
Mrs. Lyle Schroeder, Nekoosa.
He served with the Navy during
World War I, and was a
member of VFW Post 5040,
Woodstock.
A brother, and two sisters
preceded him in death. No
relatives survive.
Friends may call at the
funeral home from 7 p.m.
Sunday until time of services.
