Queen Bly, 86, of 703 East Fridley was discovered dead in her home by the Bozeman Police Department and a local attorney at approximately 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Gallatin County Coroner Rob Myers judged the time of death at some time during the evening of Feb. 2 and said death was due to natural causes.

She was born in Manhattan July 14, 1885, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Curtis. She married Samuel T. Bly on March 11, 1908, at Manhattan.

They lived a few years in Reedpoint before returning to the Gallatin Valley in the early 1930s. They lived on a ranch in Belgrade for many years. Her husband died in 1945 and Mrs. Bly moved to Bozeman about 1960.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. David (Letha) Davis of Bellevue, Wash.; a son, Luther Bly of Chula Vista, Calif.; sisters, Mrs. Charles Sales of Bozeman and Mrs. Laura Kate Ballard of Manhattan; 10 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. A son, Bluferd, preceded her in death.

Funeral services are pending with Dokken-Nelson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
