John "Paul" Humble, 81, of Ochelata, died at 1:10 AM Sunday in the Jane Phillips Medical Center.
Services will be 2PM Wednesday at the Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Ralph O. Dershem of the Rose Hill Community Church officiating. Services and interment will be under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home.
A memorial has been established and those who wish to make a contribution in memory of Mr. Humble may do so to American Lung Association, P.O. Box 53303, Oklahoma City, OK 73152.
Mr. Humble was born Jan. 29, 1916 in Welch to Lon and Pearl Monte (Carter) Humble. He was raised and received his education in Bartlesville, Mr. Humble lived in the Bartlesville area since 1918. He was employed with Public Service Company of Oklahoma for 42 years. Mr. Humble was a member of the Bartlesville Moose Lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; a son, John of Lawton; two daughters, Zalma Phillips of Phoenix, Ariz., and Susy Evans of Dewey; a brother, Bill of Bartlesville; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and three sisters.
