ORDERED
That a passport be prepared for Messers. Mathew Carter Senr. with his wife two children and two negroes, Mathew Carter Junr. with his wife two children and one negro, William Goff with his wife and two children, William Carter and his wife and Edmund Goff and James Goff, all from the County of Bulloch in this State to travel through the Creek Nation of Indians.

[SALEM]...Where is the sainted Peter HELVESTON, William CARTER, Matthew CARTER, Samuel DAVIS, Henry FLETCHER, Edmind(sic) GOFF, Bryant FERRELL, William MIZELL, Father WELLS, Isaac WELLS, besides many others who were generally seen on that ground with open arms, open hearts, and open tents to receive, feed, and care for the people assembled there to hear the word of Life?"...
