Mr. James McNeil Boles, 77, of 293 Boles Drive, died Wednesday, May 31, 1995, at his residence.

The funeral will be at 6 p.m. today at Clinton United Methodist Church, with the Revs. Anthony Rowell and Ernest Heape officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Boles, a native of Orangeburg, had lived in Aiken County many years. He was an Army Air Corps veteran in World War II. He was a farmer in the dairy-agriculture field, a member of Clinton United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Men's Club and a former trustee.

Survivors include his wife, Onie Whetstone Boles; a son, Ken McNeil Boles, Salley; two daughters, Linda Kirkland, New Holland, and Judy Young, Wagener; three sisters, Francis Axson and Martha Axson, both of North, and Maxie Williams, Swansea; and five grandchildren.

Blizzard Funeral Home, Wagener, is in charge of arrangements.
