William Blackwell Obituary
BLACKWELL, William- William Thomas (Tommy) Blackwell, 56, of Goose Creek, widow of Karen Sue Blackwell, entered into eternal rest on March 7, 2007, at his residence. Born December 2, 1950, to the late Basil Blackwell and Mary Welch Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was a truck driver. Mr. Blackwell was a veteran of the US Army and of the Baptist faith. Survivors include one daughter, Elaine B. Hood and husband Ken of Conway, SC, one sister, Gloria B. Moody and husband Mike of Moncks Corner, two brothers, Donald Wayne Blackwell of Goose Creek, and Richard Arthur Blackwell and wife Sheryl of Charleston, one grandchild, Nicholas Hood. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 10, 2007, 3:00 p.m., at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 7113 Rivers Avenue, North Charleston, SC. Burial will follow in Carolina Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m., March 9, 2007, at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home.
