Grampa loved all his grandchildren equally and showed his love for us every day. We have missed him daily since he's been gone. He was a very funny person and loved by the entire family.
Originally from Oklahoma, he lived in and raised his family in Olivehurst and worked as a roofer for Myers Roofing Service that his son, Jess, came to own at a later date.
In addition to Jess and his wife Pam, he was survived by his wife, Clara of the home, son Leland and wife Nadine of Sacramento, daughters Velma Curnutte of Yuba City and Marilyn Dickerson of Olivehurst as well as grandchildren, Stan, Mark, Jeff & Shelley (Leland), Rick, Kimmy, Shonda & Scottie (Velma), Stacy & Andrea (Jess), Twila & Garren (Marilyn).
His funeral was held on Oct. 25th at Hutchison's Colonial Chapel in Marysville. The Reverend Henry Rhorer officiated.
