Robert C. "Bobby" Allston, of Summerville, SC, died May 3, 2013, in Charleston.

Mr. Allston was born February 7, 1955 in Charleston, SC, a son of the late William W. Allston, Jr. and Lorese G. Allston.

He was a graduate of Summerville High School and the S.C. Criminal Justice Academy.

Bobby was a Sergeant with the Dorchester County Sheriff's Office. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #234. He was Episcopalian.

Survivors include one son, Robert Brooks of Charleston; two brothers, Billy Allston (Dale) of Hollywood and John Allston (Jeanette) of Summerville; seven sisters, Teddy Shuler (Ned) of St. Augustine, FL, Johanna Allston (Ted) of Glenmore, PA, Beth Smoak (Roy) of Yonges Island, SC, Helen Allston of Summerville, Marquerite Tempel (David) of Beaufort, Dorothy Rogers (Jerry) of North Charleston, and Doris Summers (Skip) of Yonges Island.

A graveside service will be held, May 8, 2013, at Christ Episcopal Church Cemetery in Adams Run at 1 o'clock. Friends may call at Parks Funeral Home May 7th from 6 - 8 o'clock.
