CLEVELAND, MISSISSIPPI - George Hudson 'Sonny' Andrews, 69, formerly of Memphis, retired auto dealership owner, died of cancer Saturday at his home. Services will be at 3 p.m. today at First Baptist Church of Cleveland, where he was a member, with burial in New Cleveland Cemetery. Thweatt-King Funeral Home has charge. He attended Tutwiler High School and graduated from the former Sunflower Agriculture School. He also attended the University of Mississippi for two years and graduated from Memphis State University. He was an Eagle Scout, a 32nd degree Master Mason and a member of the Whitehaven Country Club in Memphis and Cleveland Country Club. He also had been a deacon and an usher at a Presbyterian church in Memphis. Mr. Andrews, the husband of Lillian Pete Andrews, also leaves two sons, George Hudson Andrews Jr. and David S. Andrews, both of Memphis; two stepdaughters, Linda Gaskin of Florence and Gina Staggs of Indianola; a stepson, Jack Machell of Dockery, and eight grandchildren.
