Chance Ashton Adams, age thirteen, and Dalton Allen Adams, age three, sons of David Allen and Brenda Ann Salkill Adams, departed this life Tuesday, January 13, 2004, in a tragic fire that destroyed their home, near Hartville, Missouri. They were preceded in death by their maternal grandmother, Kathleen Emily; their maternal grandfather, Verl McHenry; their paternal grandparents, Ben and Mildred Hoffman; and two cousins, Brian Hutton, and Mark Byrd, Jr. Chance and Dalton are survived by their parents, David and Brenda Adams, of the home; their maternal grandfather, Paul Tellef, of Huntington, Indiana; their maternal grandmother, Janet Suter, and her husband, Ken, of Fort Wayne, Indiana; their paternal grandparents, Robert and Carolyn Hopkins, of Warsaw, Indiana; their sisters, Erica, Brittany, and Cassandra Loy, all of Fort Wayne, Indiana; several aunts, uncles, and cousins; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
