**********************************
Bailee Brianna was a Himalayan/Persian, a precious and loving cat. My husband had picked her out and she was the smallest of the litter but oh so loving and also quite dependent.

I called for Bailee to come eat lunch and while her sissy ran up to me rubbing my leg excited for me to get lunch ready...I asked sissy to go tell Bailee that lunch was ready. She ran off to tell her and soon came back almost meeting me in their room as I was just getting ready to set down their food dish.

I glanced over and saw Bailee resting on the bed with the warm sun shining on her through the window shutters with her paws crossed over each other. I looked and suddenly I knew something was not quite right! I ran over to her, as her beautiful blue eyes were open but not moving. I took her paws and touched them they seemed luke warm and a tiny bit stiff. Her fur felt soft but her body felt heavy as I nudged her to wake up. I yelled for her to please get up many times but she layed there, unresponsive. I cleared her mouth to see if anything was inside but there was nothing.

I grabbed a blanket, wrapped my sweet girl up like a baby and stroked her precious face, I told her I loved her as the tears flowed down my face. I sunk to the floor with her still wrapped in my arms crying my heart out.

My precious Bailee of 9 years was gone! I would never hear her sweet meow ever again or feel the joy in my heart when she met me at the door. I will no longer be able to cuddle her soft fur body against mine and talk to her ever again...never...ever. I rocked her until my husband rushed home from work to comfort me.

The rules of nature and life are cruel. Whether a blade of grass, a tall oak tree, an animal or even us, everything has a limited time here on earth.

And God asked the feline spirit
Are you ready to come home?
Oh, yes, quite so, replied the precious soul
And, as a cat, you know I am most able
To decide anything for myself.

Are you coming then asked God?
Soon, replied the whiskered angel
But I must come slowly
For my human friends are troubled
For you see, they need me, quite certainly.
But don't they understand asked God?
That you'll never leave them?
That your souls are intertwined for all eternity?
That nothing is created or destroyed?
It just is....forever and ever and ever.

Eventually they will understand,
Replied the glorious cat
For I will whisper into their hearts
That I am always with them
I just am....forever and ever and ever.
