Princess Mandy and my Mom Joan were reunited on Monday morning, April 16th, about 11:30 a.m....

These photos were taken on 4/13/2012. I knew the time was getting close for Princess Mandy to leave us ~ so I decided to take her outside ~ for the first and only time.
She spent part of the late morning and afternoon in Dad's backyard, exploring. I wanted her to experience the beautiful outdoors that she always wanted to see. She used to run from door to door, window to window, chasing bugs and birds. Now, I gave her the chance to feel the grass and to taste it. She saw butterflies up close, bugs and a worm. She didn't try anything, it was like she was soaking everything into her mind, wondering...That was my last day with Mandy, no pressure, no fear, just love. She looked at me several times. I reassured her she was fine, I wasn't going anywhere. She walked slow and proud around her backyard. The Princess made her presence known ~ and let the Tom cat walking outside the fence know this was her turf. He left as quietly as he came...

**Thanks to Carrie for the beautiful picture frame! :) ♥ **
