Joe R. Simmons, age 51 of White Lake Twp., passed away on Friday, October 9, 2009 at Harper Hospital in Detroit.
Survived by his daughters, Jessica Simmons, Dana Johnson & Kasi Edwards; mother, Joyce Simmons; brother, Bob; sisters, Donna Robert and Karen LaFreniere and also his brothers-in-law, Burnie and Dave. Also survived by his grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and many loving friends.
Joe made his career with Valiant International Inc. as an Engineering Manager and later as a General Manager.
A Memorial Mass will be held at Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 N. Harvey Lake Rd., Highland on Saturday, October 17th at 10AM with Fr. Leo Lulko officiating.
