Television Producer & Network Executive.

Linda Marie Mancuso, 44, of Winnetka, IL and Hollywood Hills, CA, died after a heroic, six-year battle with breast cancer. A graduate of Duke University, she began her career in television in 1982 as an intern at WMAQ Channel 5 in Chicago. She quickly moved to the NBC network in Burbank, where as vice president of prime-time programming she oversaw shows including ''ER'' and became president of Peter Engel Productions where she was instrumental in the creation of ''teen TV'' featuring shows such as ''Saved By The Bell'' and ''USA High''. She was also president of NBC's Beyond Talent Management agency. Most recently, she was senior vice president of ABC Family Channel. She received numerous awards for programming and charitable activities. Linda is survived by her sister Laura and brothers Rick and Rob; as well as nieces and nephews Adam, Cassie, Nick and Rock.

Donations may be made in Linda's name to Catholic Charities, 126 N. Desplaines St., Chicago, IL 60661 to the attention of Rev. Wayne Watts, or The Linda Mancuso Memorial Fund at Good Samaritan Hospital Cancer Institute, 1225 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017.

Update: Thank you to Laura, Linda's sister, for letting me know that Linda's ashes have been laid to rest at Lake Forest Cemetery in a niche between that of their mother and father. (Additionally, big thanks to CKDickieVeazey for photographing Linda's niche and to Rommy Lopat for also photographing Linda's niche as well as those of her parents.)
