HARTSVILLE - A graveside service for Malverea King Watkins, 90, will be held at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 28, 2011, at Union United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Dr. Steven M. Todd will officiate.
Mrs. Watkins, widow of Minor Watkins, died Monday, September 26, 2011. Born in Chesterfield Co., SC, she was a daughter of the late Hudson and Pearl Blackwell King.
Surviving are her son and daughter-in-law, Craig (Sherry) Watkins of Hartsville, SC; brother, Gary King of Hartsville, SC; grandchildren, Terie Lea Watkins of Orlando, FL, Daniel Craig Watkins of Hartsville, SC. She was preceded in death by brothers, Millard King, Tommy King, Sam King, Joe King, Hudson King; sisters, Edna Mixon, Sally Blackwell, Virginia Mims, Mildred Davis, Genevie Leonhirth and Lou Easter Hudson.
