Jesse is a former Find A Grave contributor, who was born at the home of his grandparents in Decker's Hollow, Tyrone, Pennsylvania, then returning to his parents' home in Birmingham, Pennsylvania. His first home was a small log cabin, which his family rented for $5 per month. He moved with his family to South Lyon, Michigan, in 1955, where his dad worked and retired from the city.

He served with the United States Marine Corps at Camp Pendleton, California, as a horse handler for a Korean more by the name of Reckless, famous for carrying ammo on the front line during the Korean War.

He then trained in San Diego as a photographer. He left Reg HQ 5th Marines and became part of India Co., 3rd Bat, 9th Marine Div. and traveled all over southeast Asia.

When he returned to the states, he found work with the General Motors proving ground in Milford, Michigan as a test driver.

Over the years, he worked with police and sheriff departments as a police lieutenant CSI forensic photographer and an ultrasonic operator.
