Graveside services were held Saturday for Wilford Lee "Bill" Morris who passed away August 1, 1991 at his home in Tonto Basin, Arizona. He was born September 6, 1931 in Coal Basin, New Mexico and had lived in Arizona for 58 years, 50 of which were in the Payson area. Bill and wife Dessie had celebrated 42 years of marriage on July 2. Bill had formerly owned and operated Pete's Place in Star Valley. He had also been employed as a construction contractor. He was a member of the Payson Moose Lodge.

Survivors include his wife Dessie Rae Morris of Tonto Basin; three sons, J.R. Morris of Alaska, Glen and John Morris both of Tonto Basin; one daughter, Debbie Haught of Payson; two brothers, George H. Morris of Payson and Tom Morris of Colorado; two sisters, Gladys Hopper of Payson and Elna Shocklee of North Carolina; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Memorial donations may be give to the Tonto Basin Community Medical Center, General Delivery, Tonto Basin, AZ 85553.
